Human Fit

Human Fit is based on the idea of "functional fitness," where the major emphasis is good form, alignment and breathe-work. Each class is designed to be suitable for many different levels of fitness experience. This class focuses on reclaiming full ranges of motion in the joints, core stability, stress-resilience and endurance. While each class is different, we typically follow a high-intensity interval training model (HITT), using body weight exercises, kettlebells, clubbells, medicine balls and more.  Modifications and low impact options are available for every exercise.

Early Friday morning workout to get you prepared to win Friday and finish the week strong!! A mixture of light cardio and body-weight exercises to get your blood flowing and start your day in a positive way.

Yoga Flow

Find balance while both challenging yourself and caring for yourself. Calming breathwork, fluid movement and structural alignment are the central pieces of a mature yoga practice. Practice self-care for life and recover from the day to day stress that accelerates aging and disease.

Sunrise Workout

Start right first thing in the morning with this 40 minute class. Begin by warming up with mobility work and ramp up as the minutes pass with some yoga and calisthenics. Finish up with enough time to get ready for work and take the kids to school. It’s a perfect way to win the day!

The human body is a very sophisticated machine, and yet our Physical Education was learning how to play sports. So many of us who weren’t born natural athletes would not have struggled with fitness had we learned the basic principles that make exercise safer, more enjoyable and pain free. Fitness Foundations 101 is a fun and energetic class to get you moving better and feeding an active lifestyle.

Resistance 45

Often times yoga practitioners can end up missing the benefits of yoga by dumping into flexibility instead of creating the right connections in the pose. In Strong Yoga you will go through a progressively challenging sequence working on torque, core and root strength. Then we apply a clubbell weight to do the sequences again. This class can be very challenging and is not recommended for beginners. Equipment is provided.
